Anita and I participated in the annual Seeüberquerung today. An organized swim across lake Zürich. Scorching hot weather and comfortable 22°C water temperature made this very enjoyable. Covering the 1.5km distance took me a little less than 40 minutes, including a few minutes of waiting around in the middle of the lake for three ferries to pass. Around 9000 people participated this year, making the field quite crowded at times. Someone bumped into Anita from behind and actually cut her toe with a fingernail. Ouch. Once back on the shore we had a nice afternoon stroll along the lake before I headed back to the office. Good times.
